INTRODUCTION
Amanda Idowu is a British artist who lives and works in London. She is a graduate of the University of St Andrews. Her artistic practice includes the exploration of line, form, and colour through printmaking, drawings, and painting. Amanda is a longstanding key holder printmaker and has been involved in a number of printmaking studios in London.
This website showcases a selection of etchings from Amanda's work in 'simultaneous colour printing' – a technique developed by Stanley William Hayter – which incorporates the principles of relief printing and intaglio.
